Chess Against the Computer — How to Play

Start a game, select one of your pieces, then select a legal destination square. The Playpager embed accepts piece-and-destination moves; check the board after each move before choosing your next plan.

Chess Against the Computer — Rules

Use the standard chess objective: protect your king while trying to checkmate the opposing king. Each piece follows its usual movement rule, and a move that leaves your own king in check is illegal.

Chess Against the Computer — Tips & Strategy

Develop knights and bishops so more of your army can influence the center. Before moving, check whether the destination square is defended and whether your king remains safe.
